The coffin races attract over 10,000 spectators from all over. Arrive early or consider spending the night to explore all Manitou Springs has to offer and get the best seat for the parade and the coffin races.
Park at 1675 Garden of the Gods Road—The DMV Parking Structure—and ride one of the shuttles that run continuously from 9 am-6 pm on race day for $5 roundtrip. It will drop off/pick up from Hiawatha Gardens at 10 Old Mans Trail, 1 block from Downtown. Shuttles run continuous route, will arrive approximately every 15–20 minutes.
PikeRide (electric bike share) is offering a FREE bicycle valet located in Memorial Park—502 Manitou Avenue—from 10 am until 6 pm. Or lock up at one of many bike racks around town. Bike TO the races, get a FREE 20 minute ebike for your next journey!
Take the Mountain Metro #3 Bus from Downtown Colorado Springs or Old Colorado City! Just $1.75 each way! Buses run every 30 minutes and stop just a short walk from the races.
